Pascali’s babies are now coming out of their nest and exploring the bedroom. We are still unsure of the actual colours of the four boys. One is a dark red, and could be either red tabby and white, or, more likely, red solid and white. The three paler boys look likely to be red smokes with white or red shaded with white. The two girls are easier – one tortie smoke with white, one high white tortie, possibly tortie smoke or tortie tabby. We will know more as they increase in size.
As this litter is being assessed for show potential, we wont know which will be available for a little while yet. Some will be, and we will post a notice on here once we have decisions on which ones.
Izzy’s babies are now 11 weeks old and will next week have their final vaccinations. The boys will shortly after that be off to the vet, for their little ops and then can go to their new owners. Penny will be staying with us as we are running her on. A little shy, we are hoping once the boys leave home, she will settle more with us and hope to be introducing her to showing in the autumn.
Really pleased to say that our beautiful flashy tortie tabby and white, Jazz, is now Grand Champion Mabalakat All That Jazz. She gained her third title certificate at the show on 14th July. In addition, she was Best of Breed and had a red card day (all firsts). We are super proud of this young lady who is now taking a break throughout August. We are hoping that she will be coming into call and can be mated for autumn kittens, but if she shows no signs, then may well be out again on the bench in September and October.
These kittens have had their first health check (passed with flying colours) and vaccinations. They are growing rapidly. Our ultra affectionate and friendly hand reared kitten (still with working name of “Shrimpy”) is available. Parker is now reserved for Susie and Chris. The female is still being run on with a view to staying here with us. We havent thought of a
Still a few decisions to make on colour, but here are Pascali’s babies. There are 3 boys that we know MUST be red (dad doesnt carry dilute) but could be red silver tabby/red silver shaded/red smoke…. time will undoubtedly tell, but for the moment, our three “Mr Pinks” are almost impossible to tell apart!
After keeping us waiting, Pascali finally delivered her kittens this morning. She has four males, and two females. The two girls are both torties of some kind, one certainly has high white, and looks to be calico colouration. Too soon to know if solid, smoke or silver. The boys are all red of some kind, but it will be a while before we know if we have solids, tabbies, red silver, shaded, or smoke! All we can currently say is one has more white than the others! Photos will follow in due course.
