Kittens are now 8 weeks old, and now they are on solids, are piling on the weight.
No new litter news as yet, though – Menemsha is due sometime this week, but is currently keeping us geussing when her kittens will make an appearance. Will update on here once we know they are here and safe.
Well, the first vaccinations last week certainly didnt slow this lot down! All of these are now (at least provisionally) booked. Our next litter is due around 26th February, and we will post news on here when we have it.
Remy and George’s youngsters are now coming up to their first set of vaccs and we will be starting to notify which ones are available on here. (see individual photos for further details). If you are interested, then please get in touch. All our kittens leave here fully vaccinated, wormed, registered with GCCF, and neutered unless previously arranged otherwise. Both parents are negative for HCM gene (as are all of our cats).
Remy and George’s babies are all doing really well now, eating, using the trays, and growing fast. They will be going for first vaccinations on 4th January, and I will then be making the decisions as to which are available, and will mark them on here as such. All of our kittens, unless going to breeder friends, will be neutered before leaving. If interested in any of them, please drop us an email.
Our next litter is expected around the 5th February. This will be Izzy (Gr Ch Mabalakat Northern Lights) to George. (UK & Imperial Gr Ch Alisika City-Slicker). Their last litter was in the spring of 2016, so these will be almost one year exactly on from then, and they were one stunning litter, so we are looking forward to their arrival.
Please excuse the grubby faces. They are still needing to be hand fed, though thankfully can get through the night now. Taking photos isnt easy – they are either so desperate for food they are climbing up my legs, or covered in milk from their feed, having reached the age where they dont want the nipple, but are reluctant to lap from a bowl! As for solid food? YUK! no thanks mum! sigh…… we will get there in time, Im sure.
Some of the kittens are under assessment as potential show neuters, and the girls for show/breeding, so we are making no decisions just yet as to which will be available.
