Please excuse the grubby faces. They are still needing to be hand fed, though thankfully can get through the night now. Taking photos isnt easy – they are either so desperate for food they are climbing up my legs, or covered in milk from their feed, having reached the age where they dont want the nipple, but are reluctant to lap from a bowl! As for solid food? YUK! no thanks mum! sigh…… we will get there in time, Im sure.
Some of the kittens are under assessment as potential show neuters, and the girls for show/breeding, so we are making no decisions just yet as to which will be available.
This is Isobel, one of Poppy and George’s kittens at 6 months old. Her owner has just sent us these delightful photos. We have two babies in our current litter with very similar colouring! (see news of new litter below) She is growing into a beautiful cat, and her tail is now fluffing up nicely.
Well, Glori is still keeping us geussing, but we dont think we will have kittens from her in August, as hoped. Remy is looking more promising for the end of August, and we are hopeful that Menemsha, currently away at stud, is going to be giving us kittens in September. We will update on here as and when we have news, and will also let those people who have asked to go on our lists know when kittens are born.
Our good friend at Coonspiracy Maine Coons (other side of Daventry from me) has some gorgeous Cream silver and white kittens that are almost ready to go. Drop us a line if you want her contact details.
All now safely recovered from their little ops, stitches all gone, and raring to go! Good luck in your new homes, babies – I look forward to seeing lots of updates on your progress in your new homes.
Izzy’s litter will be leaving us in a couple of weeks, once they are over their neutering operations. Here they are, sleeping it off…..
Meanwhile, Poppy’s babies are growing like weeds. The black and white boy still has a greasy face, which will clear when he starts to clean himself up.
Eyes all open, and toddling now…. wont be long before they work out how to break out! This litter are all optioned but this may well change later. We have two more litters now confirmed – Bandit is due (to George) around 10th June, and Menemsha to Julescoon Inka Prince from 12th June.
These guys have had final vaccinations, and after being neutered they will be leaving us for their forever homes. A lovely litter from Ch. Mabalakat Northern LIghts and Imp Gr Ch Alisika City-Slicker.
