First vaccinations and health check all done with flying colours! Last worming done too. Second vaccinations in a couple of weeks (and health check no. 2) before some of the kittens will be leaving, and others will be back to vets for their neuter op a week later.
We are really proud of these babies, so LOTS of photos this time!
Firstly, Montgomerie, Black and white male, who will shortly be going to live with Amanda, and her other Mabalakats.
NEXT – Artemis, who is joining Luna (last litter) in London with Maria and family.
AND NOW THE GIRLS…. FIRSTLY, we have Athena, who is going to live with friends of ours.
and ASTORIA, going to live with other friends soon
ISOBEL is going north to live with Paul and family.
Last, but not least, is Murph also going north, who will be living with Lauren and family.
We took both boys, in the hope of securing their last necessary CC’s, and Lucky, who had just turned adult, so we werent too hopeful for her, but thought would give it a go anyway.
We had a wonderful day! As suspected, Lucky came up against a stunning older girl, and had a second kind of day, though she was well placed in all her side classes, and her day will come.
Jesse was awarded both CC’s and one of the Best of Breeds. He got first in all but one of his side classes.
Walter was awarded both CC’s and BOTH Best of Breeds. He also had First in ALL of his side classes (double Red Card Day!) He then went on to be runner up for Best In Show SLH Adult in one show, and was BEST IN SHOW SLH ADULT in the other show. We are extremely proud of both boys!
A bit hard to take photos when the whole litter are fixated on their tunnel! They love it!
All kittens are optioned or reserved. We hope to have kittens mid August from Glori to George, and at the end of August from Remy to Julescoon Inka Prince. They will be ready to leave home in November, but if interested it doesnt hurt to make contact to express an interest at this point.
Poppy and George’s kittens are busily rampaging around the kitten room now. Here are the latest photos. (Apologies for missing week 5.)
We had hoped to be announcing new litters this week, but sadly, Bandit reabsorbed her litter, so has now been spayed, as this was in any case, to have been her last litter. Once she is fully recovered, we will be looking for a nice quiet pet home for her, with no other cats or dogs or children, as she is a shy girl.
Menemsha appears to have been having us on… sadly, she isnt pregnant either, and we think she never was. Ah well…. back to the drawing board, and actually, will be quite nice to have a break for a month or so, before Glori and Tally have kittens (we hope) in August.
Eyes all open, and toddling now…. wont be long before they work out how to break out! This litter are all optioned but this may well change later. We have two more litters now confirmed – Bandit is due (to George) around 10th June, and Menemsha to Julescoon Inka Prince from 12th June.
Izzy’s kittens are now 11 weks, so final worming before final vaccinations next week, and neutering the week after, then they will all be leaving us for their new homes at the end of May. Poppy’s babies are just starting to open their eyes, at one week old.
Our next litters look likely to be Bandit to George around 10th June, followed by Menemsha to Julescoon Inka Prince on around 19th June. When they are born, we will post details here.
For those who were waiting for an email from me, please see the note below in the last post giving details of our problems with technology! If you would like to be considered for one of our future kittens, please do drop us a line.
Poppy’s litter at one week. All currently OPTIONED.
